NATURAL AND ARTIFICIAL
CLÉMENT BLANCHET

French architect, teacher, and critic, he is active in the fields of architectural theory, urban planning, and cultural research. He collaborated for 10 years (from 2004) with Rem Koolhaas, contributing to the development of OMA in France and leading several award-winning projects for the studio.
In 2014, he founded Clément Blanchet Architecture (CBA) in Paris, a studio-laboratory that researches, analyzes, and implements architectural and urban planning projects.

GAETANO DI GESU

Architect, he has conducted teaching and research activities at La Sapienza University of Rome. In 1994, he founded RDM Studio in Rome, with which he won national and international competitions. Since 2010 he has been working with China. In 2013, he founded the design company EAWE, with offices in Rome, Beijing, and XI’an, specializing in the design of urban complexes and investment projects between Europe and China.
Since 2018, he has been the scientific director of ChinaMuseum International (Italian headquarters), now Palatina Cultural Group, which coordinates cultural programs between European and Chinese museums.

DANIELE DURANTE

Architect, PhD, he is a lecturer at the Department of Architecture at the University of Ferrara and a Visiting Critic at Cornell University in Rome, College of Architecture, Art and Planning. In 2004 he founded Studio bv36. His professional work focuses on combining innovation and research with design practice, taking into account the relationship between architecture, art, and design. Her activity centers on residential architecture, with innovative approaches to domestic living, as well as on workplace architecture and urban public spaces.

ALESSANDRA FERRARI

She graduated in 1989, and she worked as a designer and project manager for an American leading engineering company. Founder of her own professional practice in Bergamo, she works in design, construction, and consultancy in both the public and private sectors.
She was the first female President of the Order of Architects in Bergamo, she is vice president of the National Council of Architects PPC, leading the Culture Department, managing the Italian Architect Award and other projects.

ICO MIGLIORE

Italian architect and designer, he co-founded the international studio Migliore+Servetto with Mara Servetto, which has completed over 1,000 projects in 22 countries, earning major awards, including 3 Compasso d’Oro prizes and 13 Red Dot Design Awards. Educated at the Politecnico di Torino under the guidance of Achille Castiglioni, he is currently a professor at the Politecnico di Milano and Chair Professor at Dongseo University in Busan, South Korea. His research focuses on the design of narrative spaces–whether public areas, museums, exhibitions, installations, or retail projects–spanning architecture, urban archigraphy, interior design, product design, graphics, and multimedia.

WATER RESILIENCE
PARK

An interdisciplinary collective of architects, designers, and researchers, united by the desire to shape the future of the built environment. Founded in Milan in 2000 by Filippo Pagliani and Michele Rossi, the studio work across architecture, urban design, landscape, interior and product design, promoting a cross-disciplinary approach. Each project developed by Park takes form within its specific context, from the Regione Lombardia skyscraper to the headquarters of Luxottica and Salewa, from residential and commercial spaces to the redevelopment of modern landmark buildings or entire districts. Operating at the intersection of tradition and innovation, the studio stands out for reinterpreting and regenerating cities, transforming them into new models of livability and sustainability, adopting adaptive reuse as its main strategy.
Park has received numerous awards, including the Italian Architect Award 2024 conferred by the National Council of Architects, Planners, Landscape Architects, and Conservators.

FEDERICO PAROLOTTO, MIC-HUB

CEO of MIC-HUB. A graduate of the Politecnico di Milano, he has international experience. He was part of the expert committee supporting the Municipality of Milan in drafting the Sustainable Urban Mobility Plan. He collaborates with numerous Italian and international universities on courses related to urban planning and sustainable mobility.
He recently published the book Muoversi in uno spazio stretto – verso una nuova mobilità with Quodlibet.

DELIA VALASTRO, MIC-HUB

Engineer, senior researcher at MIC-HUB in the City Futures Research Lab department. She graduated in Building Engineering-Architecture from the University of Catania and obtained a Master’s degree in City and Regional Planning from the University of Memphis. She is currently pursuing a PhD in Urban Planning, Design and Policy at the Politecnico di Milano, focusing on road safety for pedestrians, cyclists, and vulnerable road users.

PAOLO VERRI

General Director of the Fondazione Arnoldo e Alberto Mondadori.
He graduated in Media History from the Università Cattolica in Milan and was director of the Turin International Book Fair (1993-1997). He has worked on urban policies and major events, coordinating the strategic plan of Turin, collaborating on the Turin 2006 Winter Olympics, and directing the Italia 150 Committee. He led the successful bid for Matera as European Capital of Culture 2019 and collaborated on Expo Milano 2015.
He teaches at IULM University in Milan and at IED in Turin.

FRANCESCO ALATI

President and founding member of the ADI Calabria delegation. In 2021 he founded his own design and strategy studio working in the fields of branding, product design and communication, ranging from art direction to cultural projects. he is a lecturer in the Design degree program at the Università Mediterranea of Reggio Calabria.

POST LANDSCAPE
MARCO INTROINI

Graduated in Architecture from the Politecnico di Milano, he is a documentary photographer specializing in landscape and architecture. He teaches Techniques of Spatial Representation and Architectural Photography at the  Politecnico di Milano. He has numerous publications and exhibitions on architecture and landscape; his works are held in the MAXXI Foundation, the CSAC Archive, the Maga Museum, and the AEM Foundation.

THE IMPERFECTION OF THE ABSOLUTE
ANGELA PELLICANÒ

She graduated in Painting from the Academy of Fine Arts of Reggio Calabria and exhibits at both national and international level. Among her most significant solo exhibitions are Shakti and La Pagina dei Giochi.
She participated in the 54th Venice Biennale, Manifesta12, and in exhibitions held in prestigious venues such as Palazzo Arnone, Palazzo dei Priori, and the Orestiadi Foundation.
In 2017 she won the Apulia Land Art Festival. Her works are included in collections such as the Palazzo della Farnesina and the Museum of Trame Mediterranee.

BETWEEN LAND AND SHAPE
PASQUALE PIROSO

Architect, he graduated under Paolo Portoghesi, with whom he collaborated on major national projects. Today is the founder of Loft Canova studio, hosted in the restored Palazzo Canova, which he shares with the artist Luigi Ontani.
The studio brings together art, architecture, and design, developing projects that merge the ancient and the contemporary, nature and technology. It works on interior design, residential projects, hotels, corporate spaces, and monumental restoration for both national and international clients.
